The Golden Pera's Hotel & Spa

The internet worked, and the motel is in the city center. Apart from that, I wouldn't bring my family here. The rooms and bathroom were so cramped there was hardly space to walk, and the bed was tiny enough that we worried about falling out in the night. Staff weren't friendly, breakfast wasn't tasty, and there wasn't much choice. The walls were thin and we heard every noise outside. It also felt like a brothel, with men lined up waiting for massages from two women.

A convenient place right in central Istanbul, with great service and a very good breakfast. Ideal if you want to stay in the heart of the city.

Mr Nadir gave us a warm welcome, and the room was clean. The staff paid close attention and went out of their way to help, while the calm atmosphere made the stay feel restorative. The location was just right for exploring Istanbul. We were very pleased and hope to return.

I stayed with my family in October 2024, and the team treated us with so much care. They helped us when we first arrived in the country and again when we left, and even organized things for us to do around Istanbul, like cruises across the ocean. It felt like more than service, they were good friends. The food was amazing and the atmosphere friendly. The rooms were a bit compact, but all were clean. A great choice for a stay in Istanbul.
