The Stay Boulevard Nisantasi

The staff were really nice, but I wouldn’t stay at another hotel from this group at this price, especially with so many choices in Istanbul. We had a baby with us, and every night the nightclub music from the hotel restaurant blasted into our room from 9 pm until 3 am. It was unbearable. The main casual restaurant was closed even though the website advertised it. Marcellos on the rooftop was dysfunctional, and also seemed to operate as a nightclub. Simple things took an absurdly long time. Management seemed absent, and we watched several guests give up and leave without being served breakfast, which was already extremely expensive. For a hotel aiming to be upper class, this was a terrible experience. They should say at booking that it’s running a nightclub.

The hotel felt calm and welcoming, and its amenities were well organized. My room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with the essentials provided. Getting around was easy because the location was convenient and close to key areas. The staff were helpful and ready to assist with requests. There are a few small things that could be improved, but I had a very pleasant stay.

The massage really affected my stay. I paid 3600 TL, around 56 EUR, and left feeling that the money was completely wasted. I wasn't satisfied and felt overcharged for the poor service. Before booking, I clearly asked for a very specific massage focused mainly on the skull, and asked them to write the request down. They assured me the masseuse would be told. When the appointment came, I repeated it directly, but they did almost the exact opposite. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the rooms were very good. Aside from the massage, I really liked it overall.

The breakfast staff were rude and made us feel completely unwelcome. We’d paid for breakfast for every day, but ended up going elsewhere instead. Everything else about the hotel was great. 💔
