The Superior Living Kağıthane

I was there for nine days with breakfast included, and the breakfast was the worst part of my stay. There was no buffet, and no one explained what they'd be serving. The woman at the bar didn't speak English. Each day it was basically half an omelet with vegetables and bread, with very small portions, and I was stuck with the same dish throughout the stay. The hotel was a very bad experience for me.

I stopped here for one night during a short transit in Istanbul. The location was great, near parks and running paths. The room was spacious and had everything I needed, the spa was perfect, and breakfast was simple and tasty. I'd definitely stay again.

The service was poor, and the staff had a bad attitude. Housekeeping didn't come to clean or provide towels and tissues, and there was no help bringing items to the room. The place is very small and has no pool or other facilities of its own. The jacuzzi, sauna, and gym are run by another company, open from 9 to 9, and require booking. There is just one small jacuzzi shared by men and women. When we went to book, we were told the sauna wasn't working because the cleaner had to come at 11. Massage had the same kind of issue. The facilities weren't reliably available to hotel guests. The receptionist with glasses treated guests very badly. They asked why we used the trolley without returning it to exactly the right place, said, “Why am I responsible for arranging your trolleys????” and “Do you want me to feed you too?” The bathrooms wouldn't lock, and it took two hours for a worker to fix them, wasting our time. None of the lamps worked, and the plugs were broken. I don't recommend it. There are better options.

The location in Kağıthane was quiet and felt safe, with good connections to central Istanbul and easy access to malls, cafes, and transport. I really liked how practical and comfortable the apartments were: strong Wi-Fi, comfortable beds, a fully equipped kitchen, and good security made it feel like home. The apartments at Superior Living Kağıthane were modern, clean, well equipped, and felt new, with thoughtful design. Staff were professional, friendly, and ready to help. Check-in and check-out went smoothly, and communication was clear and quick throughout my stay. I'd happily recommend Superior Living Kağıthane for a comfortable, reliable stay, short or long.
