Fama Karakoy

A small, cozy place with everything we needed. It was very clean, and the staff were kind and helpful. A nice woman made us fresh breakfast every morning. The location was perfect, with an easy walk across Galata Bridge. Everything was just right, thanks!

The staff are what make this place stand out. They were so helpful and kept going out of their way to make guests feel welcome and cared for. The location works well for both the old city and Karakoy. Our room was impeccably clean. The bathroom was a little small, but thoughtfully designed, and the excellent water pressure made up for it.

Breakfast was a highlight for us. We chose the Turkish breakfast option and had fresh bread, cheeses, olives, and more each morning. The lovely woman preparing it also made a homemade cake every day, and it was absolutely mouthwatering. The hotel is only a few minutes from public transportation, so getting around and exploring the city was easy. Our room was clean and had everything we needed, and the staff made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. They pay attention to the little details. We had a fantastic stay and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We switched to Fama after a nearby Airbnb we’d paid for wasn’t clean enough for us. This place had what we needed: a quiet, soundproof room, a comfortable bed, a hot shower, and a clean room. The room is small, so it may not suit a couple with more than a carry-on and personal item, and water from the shower does spill into the bathroom. Still, it’s exceptional value for the price. The staff are friendly, the location is perfect, and I’d definitely recommend it.
