TRYP By Wyndham Istanbul Sisli Hotel

Dogu and Mustafa helped us check out. They called when our taxi arrived, took care of our luggage, and gave us little gifts as we left. We stayed for four nights and were impressed by the service, hospitality, and communication from everyone on staff. Breakfast always had a wide selection and was delicious. I think this hotel really earns its five stars, and I’d happily recommend it.

We were very happy with our stay at TRYP by Wyndham Istanbul Sisli. It was clean, comfortable, and a very nice hotel, with helpful and friendly staff. Mr. Doğu at reception was especially professional and kind, and supported us throughout the visit. We’d gladly return and recommend it.

The location is great, but the hotel really spoiled our Istanbul experience. The first night they warned us about a power outage, which was fine. After it ended, though, we had no bathroom water for nearly the whole day. We called reception three or four times, and it wasn’t fixed until almost nighttime. The room smelled strongly of sewage as soon as we walked in. The size was fine and had what you’d expect, but the smell was awful. The hotel was full, so we couldn’t switch rooms, and I bought air fresheners at a nearby shop. Housekeeping was also very poor. My child got sick and vomited in the room, so I called six times asking them to clean it. After four hours we went out, and when we returned an hour or two later, they still hadn’t come. When they finally arrived, they said they were cleaning rooms one by one, floor by floor. If I’d been willing to wait, I wouldn’t have called six times. The staff’s attitude was really bad too.

The breakfast was tasty, the rooms were clean, and the staff were friendly. It’s also in a convenient spot. The downside was the smoking room in the lobby, which left the whole lobby smelling of smoke.
