The location made getting around easy, with buses and trains close by and the main tourist sights just a few steps away. I travelled alone and loved my single room. It wasn't large, but the bed was a good size and very comfortable. The room was nicely designed and decorated, and the bathroom was clean. I asked for an iron and it was brought up within minutes. The rooftop breakfast bar has beautiful views. Reception were so kind and helped with everything I needed. I'd definitely stay at the same hotel if I return to Istanbul.

Cleanliness stood out more than anything. The beds and covers were excellent, and while the old Turkish villa and its dated interior aren't fancy, the lobby and sitting area are nicely appointed. There are 9 steps at the entrance, then an elevator inside. The location is hard to beat, just a 2 minute walk from Hagia Sophia, with the calls to prayer part of daily life here. Breakfast is self-serve on the top floor from 8-10:30, and there's a simple bar at night plus a rooftop terrace with a view of the blue mosque. The staff were friendly and helpful, arranged tours and reservations, and even walked us to good local restaurants. Everyone spoke English well. We'd readily come back.

Our room was spacious, and we liked its old-world decor, even though Hotel Uyan isn't a five-star place. The staff were generous and helpful, always doing what they could to make our time in Istanbul pleasant. Its location is amazing, close to both mosques, Topkapi Palace, and the Grand Bazaar, with Galata Tower an easy walk away. We'd definitely recommend staying here.

Breakfast was handmade and had a good variety, and the staff were polite and very helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the service was perfect. The hotel is right by the Blue Mosque and Aya Sofia. I'd definitely stay here again.

We had a good stay at Hotel Uyan. The staff were wonderful, and the internet connection worked well. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a wooden floor. Breakfast was simple. There's also a rooftop terrace with views, and the hotel is near the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, and Topkapi Palace.
