Vera Taksim Hotel

The room was very small and there was no refrigerator at all. When I asked, the receptionist said none of the rooms had one. Cleanliness was very poor. The location isn't suitable for families or anyone looking for peace. I don't recommend it at all.

The employees were more than awesome, and the beds were really comfortable. The rooms were good, though a bit outdated and not like the pictures. I wouldn't call it kid-friendly because of the neighborhood, which is full of clubs and strange people, and the lift was in bad condition. It's a good hotel for a trip with friends.

The street was nice and had everything nearby. Vera Hotel Taksim was very clean, nice and new, and I felt safe there. Service was very good, and the reception staff were really helpful and nice. Adnan helped us, so big thanks to him. I'd definitely book this hotel again if I travel to Turkey.

The lift felt like a safety hazard, and I planned to add a video showing the noise and conditions. Every night was awful: loud music, traffic and engine noise, while the windows did nothing to block the sound. The beds were like wooden boards and made mechanical noises whenever we moved. We booked a standard room but were shown a miserable, basement-like space that felt like a bunker from a war movie. When we complained, we were pressured to pay extra for a Deluxe room, which was only a bit larger and had the same bad conditions. The so-called Economy room felt like a trap to make guests pay more. The hotel seemed to be falling apart, as shown in the attached photos. The much-praised location is near the main street, but getting there means passing through narrow alleys with drug users and prostitutes. It felt unsafe and dirty. We don't understand how it has good Booking reviews; they seem misleading. This was a horrible experience and felt like a complete scam. Don't ruin your holiday like we did.
