Walton Sisli Residence

We booked through booking, and on arrival the room was filthy. There were black and yellow stains in the shower, and I don't even want to guess what they were. Touching things around the room felt disgusting. The bed had stains and cigarette burn holes. There's also a wooden panel over the bed, and it was dirty with handprints from people who'd had fun there. I can't understand how a room could be left this dirty, and I don't know who decided this was a 4 star hotel. It just isn't true.

The staff were lovely, always kind and ready to help. Breakfast was a real bright spot too, especially the Turkish breakfast. I asked on WhatsApp for extra butter and ketchup, and they brought them right away. The jacuzzi worked, and we still enjoyed our little weekend getaway together. Our 50 m2 Queen room had a pretty look and the main cleaning was done well, with the shower and sink clean. But the facilities were really worn. The bed and sofa had cigarette burns, and the corridor smelled of cigarettes. The wallpaper was peeling, several edges and spaces under the sofa and by the window were dirty, and the bidet didn't work. The blackout curtains didn't block out the light, and despite the soundproofing claim, we could hear neighbors walking in the corridor and construction behind the window. The area is more local than fancy, which we actually liked. If this is meant to be a 4 star hotel, I'd take a star off. There's a nice idea here and plenty of potential, but it needs a refresh and more attention to maintenance and detail.

The location made it easy to reach Istanbul attractions and transport links, and after a day out, Walton Residence Şişli was a comfortable place to return to. We spent a week there and really enjoyed it. The service stood out most. (Abdulrahman) was especially polite and friendly, and his helpfulness made us feel welcome and looked after. Thanks to (Abdulrahman and the rest of the team) for such a positive stay. I'd recommend Walton Residence Şişli as a comfortable, well-located base in Istanbul. Thank you All.

We were in Istanbul for a wedding and would definitely book the Walton Residence Inn again. The staff were so hospitable, and anything we needed in the room or wanted to ask about directions was handled quickly. I got a stain on the dress I was wearing, and the receptionist downstairs was caring and incredibly helpful. Other staff helped me find the right cleaning products and saved my day. Walton residence sisli staff, thank you for making our experience so good. I'd recommend staying here for the customer service alone.
