White Palace Hotel

The staff really made our stay. When the power went out on our second night, reception helped us find another hotel for the night. After my surgery, they brought me ice every half hour, which I really appreciated. The place itself was affordable, comfortable, and clean. We were very happy here and would come back :)

The room furniture was very old and rusty, and the cleaning needs a lot more attention. The staff were friendly and helpful, though, and the price felt fair for the location.

We came back three times, staying two to four days each visit. The location worked well, close to the tram, bus stops, a hospital, and a pedestrian street, with plenty of other places nearby. Staff were helpful around the clock, and the price suited us. If anything was wrong in the room, we only had to ask at reception and they fixed it right away. The rooms were good enough for us.

Ali at the front desk was especially helpful, answering my questions and going out of his way whenever I needed something. The hotel has recently been renovated, and the clean, well-kept room and modern bathroom were nicely decorated too. Local shops are just a few steps away. I'm from the US, and this place compares well with many hotels back home. I'd stay here again if I return to Istanbul.
