Water was leaking through the ceiling in our room, and they wouldn't change rooms or try to fix it. They just said nothing could be done. When we told them they didn't care, their response was, “you can check out if you want.” It felt like they were kicking us out. Terrible customer service. 👎👎👎

Both rooms, one standard and one deluxe, were very clean during my two-night stay. My experiences with the staff were mixed, though the receptionist on my second day was especially kind and helpful. The central Izmir location puts you near the sea and a street full of great restaurants. Parking was less convenient: because of the surrounding street layout, I had to leave my car about 15 minutes away. Noise was my main issue. Both nights I woke several times to street sounds, especially car horns and what seemed like a bar in the alley next to the hotel, open until around 12:30 or 1:00 a.m. It was quite disturbing, and I've attached a video of the noise.

The room smelled bad, it was very cold, and the heater didn't work properly. The jakuzi didn't work either, and the water wasn't hot. The staff weren't helpful at all. This felt like a scam: it was a tiny, old hostel, not even a hotel, though we paid for a 5 star hotel. When I walked in, I couldn't find a lift and the place looked so small and old that I questioned my booking. They confidently told me it was five stars! Check the photos for the rest.

The hotel looks stylish and well-designed, but it seems very amateurishly run. We arrived tired after hours on the road, my girlfriend having come all the way from London and me from Ankara. We checked in early in the morning hoping to rest, only to find water dripping from the ceiling in our room. We reported it, but the answer was that there was nothing they could do. The leak kept us awake. The receptionist was also rude and arrogant, which says a lot about how poorly managed the place feels. You can find better places for the same price, so don't waste your money here.
