Hotel Cagla Pinar

Its location is the only thing I liked. It’s extremely close to the ferry and Izmir’s metro (IZBAN). The hotel itself is very old and neglected, with worn-out facilities. Rust covered the bathroom, the shower barely worked, and the air conditioner was so loud. The room was tiny, making it hard to move around. The worst part was the bathroom door. It didn’t work properly and didn’t even cover the doorway, leaving big gaps on both sides that did nothing to block noise or smells from whoever was using it. For this price, I’d avoid the place and pay a bit more for a proper hotel.

The room was the smallest I’ve ever seen, with no closet, and the bathroom had rust. It might be okay for one night, but I wouldn’t stay longer. The best thing is the location, close to restaurants and a nice area for a walk. Be careful with the bill, though, as they tried to scam us. The receptionist seemed lazy. I asked for a map, information about the city, and for a taxi to be called the next day, but he did none of it. I think he was stressed about having to do those things.

We only stayed one night, but the room was cozy and clean, with mirrors everywhere that I liked. The location was great too, right in the centre.
