In Vivo Hotel

There's a simple homemade breakfast available in the lobby, and the hotel has an elevator, which was a nice change from İstanbul. My room had a comfortable bed, a large TV, a hair dryer, a hospitality tray, and lots of outlets for charging phones. The place was quiet and clean, with a very good spot near the main lively street.

I needed somewhere in the middle of the night in an emergency, and I was very satisfied with my stay. The owner understood my situation right away and was a big help. After I woke up in the afternoon, they even made me a little Turkish breakfast. The owner and his wife are lovely people who run this place themselves. For a budget hotel in this price range, I think it's great value: a safe place with a clean bed, clean bathroom and shower, and new, clean sheets and towels. Just keep in mind it's a privately owned budget hotel, not a Marriot or Sheraton 5* hotel. If you're after an affordable, safe and clean place in Alsancak, I highly recommend In Vivo hotel.

The area by the Pier is lively and full of character, and the hotel is clean, with an elevator, breakfast and great wifi. It's about a 10-minute walk to the clock tower and a beautiful park with amusement rides, lovely for a picnic or just relaxing. At night it wasn't noisy. Staff were super helpful and friendly, the room was gorgeous, and the bed was really comfortable. There was plenty of hot water, too. The price is very reasonable. Don't assume a good price means the hotel isn't good, it exceeded my expectations. I definitely recommend it for a couple or solo traveler, and I'll definitely return whenever I'm in Izmir.

A really welcoming, friendly staff and a great location, just a five-minute walk from the seaside. I loved this hotel and highly recommend it.
