Hotel Ismira

The room was fairly clean and hygienic, and the location was quite good, with shops nearby that usually close around 9 PM. I stayed in a Deluxe bedroom, but it had no shampoo, soap, or anything like that. I called reception, and they still forgot to bring hair conditioner.

The employees were great and did their best, but poor management was obvious. The refrigerator barely worked, the air conditioning kept failing, and the ventilation was so bad that smoke from another room filled mine. The hotel was full, so they couldn’t move me when I asked. The AC shut down after an hour, and in the middle of the night I had to check the fuse and turn it back on because the room got so hot. I’d gladly pay a few extra bucks for a much better room and a good night’s sleep. They wouldn’t discount the stay or cancel the charge for all the trouble.

The Wi-Fi was really bad, and our room for three adults had only two proper single beds. The third was a portable bed meant for children. After I complained, they made excuses and decided to change it. I’ll never stay at this hotel again.

The breakfast was delicious, the rooms were tidy and medium-sized, and the hotel is very central, close to all the shops. Staff were friendly and helpful, cleaned our rooms daily, and even helped us park on their busy street. The bar fridge was well stocked. My only issue was the hair dryer: its electrical wires were exposed, so it didn’t feel safe to use and could give you a shock.
