My Way Deluxe Hotel

The hotel is in a pretty good spot, and the staff are willing to help. Most of them, though, literally can’t speak or understand English. The noise was a real problem for me. One side joins a residential building, and a music teacher there gives drum lessons that can be heard all day. I like music, just not with a sore head after dental treatment. The windows aren’t double glazed, so at night you can hear music, shouting and car horns until 3 am. The breakfast was unacceptable for many guests. Most people staying here are patients from the dental clinic getting implants or crowns, and hard food is difficult to eat, especially with unstable temporary teeth. There were no scrambled eggs, Weetabix, or other softer choices. The kitchen didn’t seem to understand that you can’t eat any of the food offered with temporary teeth. There were long black hairs all over the floor, which hadn’t been brushed properly. There are no luggage scales either, a cheap thing every hotel should have. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

We were very pleased with our two-room apartment. It was clean, comfortable and really nice for me, my husband and our two daughters. The staff were polite and friendly; not all of them understood English, but they did try to help. The hotel is close to the seaside and the bazaar. A big thank you to everyone at MyWay Deluxe hotel, we had a very happy stay.

They charged me twice and never returned the extra payment. I’d already paid through booking.com, showed proof at check-in, and they still took payment from my card again. I contacted the hotel to get my money back and, as usual, got no reply. The service was awful. Staff weren’t polite or helpful, and phone calls, emails and messages didn’t get anywhere. I’m disappointed and can’t believe they took my money and don’t care about paying it back. It’s unbelievable behavior for a “professional place.” I’ll never stay here again and will tell my friends not to book it. Not trustworthy.

Some days the hotel smelled like sewage. The kitchens were filthy, and my omelet arrived burnt. I also found the waiters indifferent, and thought their skin smelled. When I checked out, I heard a manager stuffing sandwiches and various drinks into his bag for personal use. I understand he takes free sandwiches and sodas for himself.
