MySun Hotel

We arrived in the morning and were allowed to check in early without an extra charge. The staff were very kind and friendly, the price was affordable, and the room was good. Breakfast had a good variety too. One downside was the cigarette smell in the room, which could be annoying, and the bathroom wasn’t very clean, with some hairs in a corner. My sun Hotel is a convenient place to stay when visiting Izmir. It’s close to the city centre and train station, as well as major tourist spots like pamukkale, clock tower, and Ephesus. There’s a currency exchange nearby and a very nice park next to it.

For the price, this was a decent place for two nights. The staff were friendly, Wi-Fi was fast though a bit unreliable, and the water pressure and hot water were good. The room had the basics, including water, soap, shampoo, towels, slippers, and toilet paper. The kitchen wasn’t very well equipped, but the essentials were there, and I appreciated the electronic coffee pot. I only made coffee, didn’t cook. The door might as well have been paper, with no sound insulation at all. I could hear conversations from other rooms in detail. The AC was also ancient and very loud, even on its lowest fan setting. Those two issues cost it a star.

The rooms were very clean, and the breakfast was good. Reception was friendly and helped with all kinds of things and problems. It’s a little far from the city centre, but okay for the price. The rooms are smoking rooms and smell of smoke. Parking was difficult because the hotel is on a narrow street and has no dedicated enclosed parking. I’d worry about a newer car getting damaged, though reception kept an eye on the street in case anything happened. Thanks for everything, especially to the very good reception staff.

Our room was comfortable, and the breakfast was always fresh and delicious. The location is very good, and the staff were really nice, friendly, and helpful. I recommend it.
