The location made it easy to walk to most places, though the nearby main road brought some noise at night. Our room was comfortable and cleaned daily. Its windows only open halfway, which was inconvenient. The decor has a charming, old-fashioned feel, almost like an Agatha Christie novel or a travel story. There’s wooden carpentry and a mix of pictures and statues around the breakfast area, elevators and rooms. In our second-floor room, the retro phone and little round stained glass window were especially nice. There was plenty to choose from at breakfast, particularly cheeses, olives and jams. Just don’t expect everything to be ready right at 7, when service officially starts. Most things weren’t fully laid out until 7:45-8:00.

Parking was a little tricky with all the activity around the hotel, but the central location in Turkey’s third-largest city made it worth it for exploring the area. The staff made us feel comfortable throughout our stay. The parking attendants were quick and helpful, the front desk team was very friendly, and breakfast staff greeted us warmly and served us efficiently. Wouldn’t recommend it. The online information isn’t objective. My main issue was the lack of proper windows. In the pictures there are windows, but the view is onto a corridor or they’re blocked. I’m not sure why, it makes no sense. The lights were dim and the electrical work seemed badly done. The air conditioners were dirty, though they worked. It wasn’t perfectly clean, but the low light and lack of sunlight made it hard to see the actual condition. Breakfast was kind of acceptable.
