We compared this hotel with two others before booking, and it was clearly the best choice. During our two-night stay, the place was clean, comfortable, and well cared for. The price felt very fair for the quality and service. Both the day and night receptionists were warm and helpful. I'd gladly recommend it and stay again.
The owner made our stay in Izmir feel especially welcoming. He was attentive and kind, and it was clear he cared about making guests comfortable. He even offered to do our laundry, which came in handy on the trip. The hotel is cozy, clean, and kept in good shape, with a nice balance of comfort and character. It's in a quiet spot but still connected well to the city center and cultural sights. We could walk to quite a few places and enjoy the local feel. I've had few travel stays this pleasant. We left feeling well looked after, and we'd happily come back. Thanks for everything.
Friendly people run this clean place. The rooms are well kept, and you're very close to the center. I'd recommend it to anyone ☺️
The host seemed like a nice guy, and the place was clean apart from the smell. But it was disappointing overall. It looked older, worn, and damaged compared with the photos, and there was a cigarette smell everywhere. The amenities were broken, there was no soundproofing, and the stairs were in pretty bad shape.
Mahsum was a really kind host and seemed to work as hard as he could to help everyone enjoy their stay. The women working with him were just as friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was lovely, inside and out, with a nice view and everything I could ask for. My room was clean, beautifully decorated, and felt luxurious. The bed was so comfortable too. I loved the place and would give it five stars.
