Kilim Otel Izmir

My stay was horrible. The room smelled as if someone had peed on the floor, and the reception staff were extremely rude. They tried to charge us more than the amount we had booked for the rooms. At checkout, they added extra fees, saying we had used everything in the minibar, even though it was still full and they hadn’t replaced anything. I’d tell others to avoid this trash hotel. There are much better places in this city. Shame on them.

We had an okay stay overall, but I wouldn’t choose this hotel again. The location is great and nearly all the staff were polite, though one receptionist, whose name I’ve forgotten, behaved so unprofessionally that he ruined our first day. Our room wasn’t very clean, the toilet leaked, and breakfast didn’t offer much variety.

The rooms are a little dated, but they were clean and tidy. It’s a beautiful hotel with good service and very friendly staff.

Our room was really spacious, with huge beds that could fit a family of four 😁. The breakfast room has lovely sea views, and the staff were friendly. The hotel was nice and warm during this cold spell. People in Turkey seem very kind. It’s my first trip here, but it definitely won’t be my last. I’ll have to come back when the weather is a bit warmer 🥶.
