The owners' warmth is what made this stay feel so special. The family often invited guests for Turkish coffee, and even shared breakfast with local villagers, which made us feel part of the community. Their care shows throughout the clean, cozy, well-kept bungalows. The retreat sits in beautiful surroundings, with river views and fruit trees all around, including figs, pomegranates, and lemons. We woke to birdsong and had a fresh homemade breakfast by the water, with local ingredients. It was a lovely break from everyday life. You'll need a car to get around and enjoy the area freely. Taxis can be quite expensive.

Çiğdem and her family made us feel very welcome, and the view is beautiful. Everything was wonderful, and we'd happily stay again. Be sure to try Çiğdem's kuymak before you leave. A note on the drive from Rize: navigation may send you through Yavuz village. Don't take that route, it's steep and narrow. Set Ayder Plateau as the destination instead, then cross the bridge about 1 km before it. That bridge doesn't appear in navigation.

The rooms were clean, the air was lovely, and the view was fantastic. Even the breakfast alone is worth the visit. Çiğdem Hanım and Kemal Bey were exactly as they had described themselves and the place. They're warm, easy to talk to, and helpful with everything. Many thanks to them.

The stream was right beside us, with beautiful nature all around. My wife and I found the room clean and the breakfast very good, and the owners treated us kindly. Thank you.
