Perla Arya Hotel

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and it’s a nice hotel. Konak and its attractions are only a short walk away. I’d definitely recommend staying here if you’re in Izmir.

The free breakfast was the best part for me. Still, the location, room size, and amenities all have drawbacks, so I can’t recommend the hotel wholeheartedly. Think carefully about what matters to you and look at other options before booking. If you do stay, keep your expectations realistic and plan to spend most of your time out exploring the city.

Mesut was especially helpful whenever we needed him. He knows the area well, and we’d suggest asking him about taxis, particularly for longer trips. He made sure we got a fixed fare so we wouldn’t be taken advantage of as tourists. The reception team were enthusiastic and answered all our questions during our first visit to Izmir for a wedding. Our room at Perla Arya was clean and comfortable, with a fridge that was useful for keeping water cold in the hot summer weather. The hotel is well placed for exploring the main part of the city, about a five-minute bus ride away. We had a great stay and recommend Perla Arya for a trip to Izmir.

The neighborhood wasn’t especially pleasant, though the hotel is near the city center. Even so, I felt fine staying there, and the staff were kind and ready to help at any time. The price seems fair for the quality. Rooms are spacious, clean, and have all the necessary furniture. Breakfast was great, a good meal to have before heading out.
