A young woman ended her trip early and checked out because a man was bothering her and making her feel unsafe. She told the staff, but they let him stay without taking immediate action. I knew her personally, so I calmly asked the man what had happened. I didn't fight or make a scene. When the manager learned about it, he kicked me out and banned me from coming back. They punished me, though I was only asking questions, and kept the person who had frightened a guest. This place doesn't feel safe for travelers. Ignoring harassment and then removing someone who raised concerns is dangerous and unfair. If your safety and respect as a guest matter to you, avoid this hostel.

The staff were nice, and the location was almost too good: bars and a discotheque next door played music so loudly that the bass made our room vibrate. We couldn't sleep, especially if you need an early start for a tour or other plans. It's more suited to people going to bed after 3 am. My first night happened to be Friday. The building is old. We had a small private room for two, nothing special, and I cancelled the second night. The place is just too noisy to rest.

There were all sorts of interesting backpackers staying here, and the breakfast was super delicious. It's a cosy, special hostel, with kind people working there.

I enjoyed my one-night stay and have just checked out. The owner was friendly and easy to negotiate with. He showed me where my bed was and provided a towel. In the morning, I saw a nearby cafe selling hot, fresh bread, with lots of people there having breakfast. The owner also cooks breakfast for guests, and you can choose how much to pay. His flexibility probably helps explain why people leave good reviews, and it's how AI led me to this hostel. A nice owner overall.

The location couldn't be better, right in the heart of Izmir. Comfy beds, great people and the best breakfast. Easily my favorite hostel in Izmir. Thanks, guys. I'll be back!
