Probably works for bachelors, but you can find better places nearby for a similar price.

The staff were attentive and helpful, and the central location made it easy to get around. The price was very good, but I don't think I'd stay here again. The bed was mostly clean, though some pillowcases were worn, the sheet had a small tear, and the towels were past their best. The toilet was so-so, with no showering. There was a strong cigarette smell in our room. They moved us, but the new room still smelled a little of smoke. This shouldn't be allowed for other guests. Good luck with the business.

My first visit was in 2006, then I came back in 2017, and this was my third stay, starting October 10, 2018. Each time, it felt much the same: clean, affordable, good quality, and friendly service, with the spirit of the place intact. It has what I expect from a boutique hotel, and I haven't encountered the problems described in some negative reviews. The hotel isn't luxurious, but it's comfortable and clean. I feel those reviews unfairly disparage the hard work and investment behind it. With the cost of living so high, I wonder how many other places offer this kind of stay. False criticism, or complaints made to serve someone's interests, only hurts businesses like this. Let's be fair and support them. My latest visit felt like my first.

I had to stay here for a few days, but I wouldn't recommend it. The rooms were filthy, with spiders and insects everywhere, and there was no cleaning. The staff were rude and didn't know how to speak to customers. Anyone thinking of booking should think twice.
