Buyuk Maras Hotel

We stayed two days and slept like someone drowning and clutching at a snake. The rooms were filthy, freezing, and cracked walls were covered in plaster, as if there'd been plaster work after the earthquake. The sheets and towels were torn, cold air came through the windows, and the shower head was broken. On entering, the room was disgusting. The elevator wasn't working either. This is in response to your comment: it's the business's responsibility to clean the room, even if it takes two days. You can't expect me to do it.

Right in the heart of the city, this is a good fit if you're looking for a suitable hotel. I thought the breakfast was excellent, and for that price it feels like you're getting a hotel stay for the cost of breakfast. The rooms are a bit old and really need renovation.

We made it through the earthquake, thank God. I was staying at your hotel that night, and it proved really sturdy. I'm very grateful to the hotel owner, who arranged for our belongings left there to be sent to Istanbul by cargo despite all the trouble. May God bless you.

The iftar was delicious and high quality, and the atmosphere was decent. Thanks to everyone who helped make the meals. This is a hotel I'd keep in mind for coming back.
