With so few places to stay after the earthquake, they raised the rates. 2500TL a night is a joke. The owner doesn't seem to care, and when I asked about repairs in my room or requested something, he lied to my face and made promises he never kept. The maids went through my luggage and didn't put things back where they found them. They also came in without knocking even when my “DO NOT DISTURB” sign was up. I really don't recommend this dump.

This was one of the few hotels to survive the earthquake. The staff were friendly and cooperative, and the rooms and service were good. The rooms need an upgrade, especially the mattresses, which should be replaced.

The location is the best in the city. Chef Halil Bey led a smiling staff, and I strongly recommend the place.

The hotel is really good, though breakfast wasn't very good.
