Düsseldorf Pansiyon

We booked this guesthouse for one night because the photos and reviews looked good and it was on our route. They were definitely misleading. The place was filthy, with hair on the pillows and stains on the sheets and towels. We didn’t use any of it and covered the pillows with our own towels. Worst guesthouse I’ve ever stayed in.

Metin and Müzeyyen treated us and our cat like family. We’d come from Ankara and Gaziantep with our cat, and while some places won’t take animals, they welcomed us warmly right away. It reminded us again that people who love animals don’t cause harm. The rooms were clean, there’s a garden, and the beach is just 150-200 meters away. The location is beautiful. We loved them and are very grateful for their hospitality. Next time, I’m sure we’ll feel like we’re coming to our own home. They’ve become our idol couple. Thank you so, so much…

The host and his wife were so attentive, and the whole place had a warm, family atmosphere. It’s close to the market and entertainment spots. I highly recommend it 🙏🏼💕

The breakfast didn’t live up to what we were told before arriving. They described it as fantastic, like a five-star hotel, but it was one boiled egg, two fried sausages, tomato, cheese, olives, and jam. It wasn’t filling at all, and it didn’t look like the photos or the description. I’ve seen people mention conversations with the elderly couple, but I can’t recommend the place. I wish the room had been clean and the breakfast as good as they’d hyped it up to be. We stayed for the last night of my 15-day holiday. The guesthouse is run by an elderly couple, and they asked us to pay a deposit to reserve before we arrived. I’d never paid a deposit for a room before. If I’d seen the room before booking, I wouldn’t have stayed. The bathroom was very dirty, and there was hair on the nightstand, as well as on the floor and in front of the bathroom mirror, even though we never used it. There was a lot of hallway noise. Early in the morning, the child from the next room woke up and went into the corridor, and it sounded like all the noise was inside my room.
