Samira Resort Hotel Aparts & Villas

We had a wonderful week at Samira Resort Hotel and Apartments. Our room was modern, recently renovated and very nice. Kadir was welcoming and helpful throughout. Thanks especially to Enes and Eren at the bar. Their friendly service and lovely cocktails made our holiday even better. We’d happily stay again.

The breakfast was the worst ever, avoid it. I had to order a bacon sandwich because there was practically nothing else, except chips and onion rings, and they wanted to charge me £10 for those. Our room also went four days without being cleaned, including the toilet bin full of dirty paper since you can’t flush it. We checked out early and booked another hotel. We’ve stayed all over the world, and this was definitely the worst. Everyone was complaining.

The pool made our days at Samira so relaxing. It was spotless, roomy enough for a proper swim, and had lots of sunbeds around it. The staff were just as lovely, always smiling, kind and helpful, and made us feel like family. We had a great time and can’t wait to return.

We keep coming back to Samira Resort in Kalkan. After staying there, other places tend to make us wish we were back. The staff are funny, welcoming, and seem to appear just when you need them. Last year the pool, bar, and restaurant were completely redone, and the huge sparkling pool is great for morning laps or just floating around. There’s plenty of room to stretch out in the sun, with cocktails from the bar that can turn an afternoon drink into three. The restaurant has delicious choices, from salads to more substantial dishes. With the warm weather and all that space to swim, it’s easy to leave thinking you’d happily move in.
