The location is pleasant, with a wonderful mountain view, and there are several markets and restaurants nearby. It’s also close to the university. The hotel is clean and comfortable, and the crew are very nice, polite, and helpful. Breakfast was fresh, delicious, and very good. I’d recommend staying here.

The rest of the hotel staff were absolutely delightful, but our experience with the young receptionist ruined the stay. The hotel is in the middle of a poor neighborhood, though it was in reasonable condition. We had booked and paid online for a “Standard Room” for two, but were first shown an Economy Room for one, the same type our friend had booked. The bathroom was flooded. When we asked to move, we got another single Economy Room where the shower was unsuitable for anyone over 1.8m tall. We asked again and were moved to another Economy Room, this time with wallpaper hanging off the wall. At reception, we asked why we weren’t given the Standard Room we’d specifically booked and paid for. We were told that giving us a lower standard room was normal because there were two of us. A friend in our group had also booked a Standard Room, and his was much bigger and more beautiful than ours, despite us paying the same price for the same room type. The receptionist insisted it was normal because he had “paid more” than we did as a couple. That was wrong, we both paid exactly the same amount. We spent well over an hour listening to the receptionist’s incoherent, completely fictitious reasoning. He admitted he had the authority to choose guests’ rooms as he saw fit. He clearly had a problem with my wife and me, or we would have been given the same Standard Room as our friend.

I was there last week on a short family trip, and the place felt like home right away. The atmosphere and staff were great. Our rooms were clean and comfortable, and the food was more than satisfying. I’d definitely recommend the hotel and would come back soon.
