We came away with some great memories from our stay. A really lovely experience, and I’d strongly recommend it.

My wife and I picked this place for our first wedding anniversary, and it turned out to be a wonderful spot to unwind. The food was excellent, including the way it was presented, and there are little fields within the hotel grounds that you can wander around. We’d passed through this village on the road between Karaburun and Çeşme before, but hadn’t realized how lovely it was. It’s easy to get to, the surroundings were unexpectedly clean, and the rooms in the old Greek houses have a lot of historical charm.

Watching the sunset in the soft breeze here is something you have to experience. The village feels full of centuries of history, and the whole place almost feels like stepping into another dimension. Mr. Erkan has clearly put care into every detail, and the establishment is very clean and reliable. We loved the food, especially the breakfast, roasted goat, and blueberry cake. The setting and location are lovely, and the food tastes good, but the prices are exorbitant and the service was poor. The breakfast, as part of the bed and breakfast setup, wasn't especially rich, though it was enough and the products were good quality. We left with low satisfaction, and the festival enjoyment was spoiled. I put up with it to avoid discouraging my wife, and wanted to share what happened. I found Fintoz Boutique by chance during the Narcissus Festival in 2026 and liked the place at first. I booked two nights through Hotels.com 3-4 days ahead, paid, and got a confirmation email. The next day I checked with Mr. Erkan on WhatsApp and was told our place was ready. Then that same day they called asking for another 1000 TL, saying they'd cancel if I didn't pay. When I asked why, they said Hotels.com took too much commission and the remaining money wouldn't cover the room and breakfast. My wife really wanted to see the festival, other hotels were full, and they offered no alternative, so I reluctantly agreed. I specifically asked them not to bring up the extra payment in front of my wife. We reached the hotel at midnight on Friday after a long drive. Exhausted, we were sent to the restaurant, where a woman immediately said, "You still owe 1000 TL, let's take that." We had only just arrived, and it felt like they were grabbing goods from a burning building. Fortunately the POS machines weren't working, which I took as divine providence. In the room I found hairs in the toilet and sink, and quickly wiped them up with a tissue before my wife noticed. I was trying to keep the mood from being ruined, but it was hard. The following evening we ate at the restaurant: for two people, 35cl raki, 2 cold mezes, 1 mixed herb plate, 1 slice of cheese, 2 portions of kid goat tandoor, and 1 dessert. The bill was 8500 TL, including 3200 TL for the 35cl raki. When we paid, they again asked for the other 1000 TL. I paid it too, and I guess everyone was relieved :)
