The staff were helpful, and the location worked out great. Our room was comfortable and clean, and breakfast was good too.

The breakfast was all cold, even in the dining room, and it wasn't anything special, but we still loved our stay. We were there for two nights after coming to Kars for an Eastern Express train trip. We found the hotel through online research and arrived in the middle of the night, yet the welcome was warm and attentive. The room we asked for had a jacuzzi, and everything in it, including the bathroom, toilet, and sheets, was spotless. Not a hair anywhere. We're planning another Eastern Express journey and would stay here again. Thanks!

The staff were the one bright spot: friendly and really helpful. Everything else was awful. The rooms are filthy, and although the hotel was beautifully designed when it was built, it seems there's been no upkeep since. Dirt has turned the walls pitch black, with stains around the light switches. The room kettle is so grim that people are reluctant to touch it. I'll share a photo to show what I mean.
