Hotel Marsala

We had a peaceful, luxurious holiday here, and I’d definitely recommend it. The view was incredible, the staff were kind and attentive, and the rooms were spotless. Breakfast was delicious, too. This was the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at in Kaş.

The hotel’s highest rooms have awesome views, and there’s a small platform near the sea with a few sunbeds where you can rest and swim. You reach the water by stairs, with a few minutes’ descent to the beach. That ladder may not suit everyone, though the whole island is built on a hill, so there’s descending wherever you go. We found the owners and staff welcoming and ready to sort out any problems. They keep the rooms and outdoor areas, including the pool, very clean. Breakfasts were delicious, with something for everyone, and the best we’ve had in Turkey. The hotel always leaves us with happy memories, and I wanted to share that with other guests.

We’ve stayed here twice already and can’t wait for another visit. The area is peaceful and beautiful, with a magnificent sea view. Our rooms were large, comfortable, and clean, and housekeeping was 10/10. The staff were friendly and helpful. When we had a problem, the manager dealt with it right away. Breakfast has a very good selection, and they also offer tea and cake at 5pm. The beach is three minutes away. Special thanks to Hasan, who made our latest stay pleasant and made us feel at home.

The hotel may look nice, but the manager made our stay awful. We booked two nights through Agoda and liked it enough to add two more directly with the manager. That was a mistake. After breakfast, before 11am, she suddenly said we had to leave by 1pm because she’d made a “double booking” from a phone call. It was her error, yet we were the ones being forced out. I went upstairs to tell my boyfriend, then we both went down to speak with her. She apologized and said we could stay. Less than an hour later, she knocked again, apologized again, and told us we did have to leave after all. I’ve never been treated this way anywhere. The hotel itself is beautiful, but the manager was unprofessional and unreliable. I’ve never been kicked out because someone mishandled her own booking. There’s only breakfast, no lunch or dinner. The nearest restaurants are quite far, and getting there means walking up and down hills, which is really inconvenient, especially in bad weather. We won’t return or recommend this place. It completely ruined what could’ve been a nice stay.
