The neighborhood feels authentic, with chickens wandering in the neighbors' yards, and some rooms look out toward the castle. The renovated Ottoman mansion is sweet, with about six en suite rooms. We ate well, the staff were welcoming, and the value was good.

The people running this place are thoughtful and well educated, and the homemade breakfast is delicious, from the jam to the cheese. It’s an incredible, authentic place with a wonderful restoration. I’ll definitely come back.
