We were impressed by how spacious and clean the bedrooms were, and the whole hotel was nice and warm. The owner was incredibly helpful while we worked out where to go and where to eat. The staff were lovely, and we all enjoyed the Turkish breakfast. We visited Kastamonu recently for a family ski trip. My husband is Turkish, so we've had lots of holidays in the south, but we hadn't realized how beautiful the north is too. Lidya Otel is in a great spot, near the historic city center and only 25 minutes from the Ilgaz mountain resort. We'll definitely return and would highly recommend it.
