Anatolia Park Hotel

We felt completely unsafe and ignored. In the middle of the night, someone unlocked our door, came in, turned on the lights, and opened the window. We woke up and they ran out. Reception later said it was a drunk guest who had a key to another room, and that they had “removed them” and it “won’t happen again.” They gave no apology or reassurance and never followed up. We barely slept.

Check your price carefully at reception. We asked for a room for three people and were told it would cost 2000 TL, the same amount I’d seen on Booking.com. After we handed over our IDs and got ready to pay, the receptionist entered 3000 TL on the POS terminal. When I challenged it, he falsely insisted he’d already said 3000 TL. I showed him the Booking.com listing, but he came back with vague excuses like “that room is already full.” It felt like an attempt to change the price at the last moment and hope we wouldn’t notice. That kind of dishonesty at the front desk destroys trust. Future guests should confirm the amount in writing before paying. The hotel’s reply accused me of lying, which is outrageous. Why would I make this up in a public review? I remember the conversation clearly: after asking the price for three, the person at reception said 2000 TL. I immediately converted it on my phone to compare with Booking.com. It came to about 42 euros, while Booking.com showed 46 euros including breakfast, so we agreed to take the room. When it was time to pay, the staff member entered 3000 TL. I asked why and reminded him he’d said 2000 TL, then showed him the Booking.com price as confirmation. He denied it and said the price had always been 3000 TL. It was already around 10:30 PM and we were tired, so I offered 2500 TL to settle it. He refused and said the final price was 2850 TL. We decided to leave. Instead of accepting what happened, the hotel has denied the facts and tried to discredit me. That response says a lot about its dishonesty and lack of professionalism.

Anatolia Park Hotel was a lovely surprise. The staff were warm and helpful, especially MR Bekir at reception, whose service stood out. Our room was modern, comfortable, and spotless, and the breakfast buffet was fresh, tasty, and had plenty to choose from. The location is convenient for both the airport and city center. I’d gladly stay here again when I’m in Kayseri.

Traditional in feel, but the room and the whole place were clean.
