Doc's Hotel Kemer

We stayed for two weeks last summer. The staff were all so friendly to us, and breakfast was absolutely delicious. The food at other times, day or night, was divine, especially the chicken wrap. The pool area wasn’t always clean, and there was a loose wire in the pool, the one slight negative. Still, I hope to come back next year. Thanks for a lovely stay 💗

The staff were kind, the pool was great, and the hotel is in a pleasant, fairly quiet area. The rooms, though, don't block much sound. One night our neighbours were so loud, talking loudly and stomping around, that we couldn't sleep. Bring earplugs in case you get noisy neighbours. The bathroom step was loose, and the AC right beside the bed had no quiet setting. The hotel offered a free shuttle to its “private beach,” where a chair cost 100 TL, which seemed reasonable. But our spot was so far back we couldn't see the water, and music from four different beach areas was blasting. If you've got a car, I'd try one of the beaches farther away.

The room was clean, and the air conditioner worked perfectly, which mattered most to us. The staff were friendly and helpful, too. We had a really good time here. 😊❤️

Breakfast was alright, though bees and wasps kept gathering around and made it uncomfortable. The walk into town is a long one, especially in the heat. Staff sent us to a beach where people became extremely rude once they realised we were from the hotel, and the menu prices were the highest on the beach, so we went somewhere else. There's no bar and they don't sell alcohol, despite what Booking.com might suggest. And buying your own drinks isn't much help, since the fridge turns off when you take the door card with you. We wouldn't return, even though Kemer itself was great. We'd answered three emails about our arrival time, but one room still wasn't ready and the other had no towels. Our third-floor room smelled terrible. They brought in an ozone machine because there wasn't another room available. When we got back, the towels were damp, and they wouldn't give us a second key because they didn't want us to leave the AC on. The AC only had on and off, with no way to set the temperature or fan speed. We kept waking up cold or too hot. We told reception, but nothing changed. The sheets had been washed but still had stains. The hotel's name is Doc's hotel, and the service and room issues left us disappointed.
