Wow, seriously!

The owner, Memet, made us deeply uncomfortable by staring at customers' private parts all day. It was disgraceful, and he seemed unashamed despite his age. That was on top of an awful stay from the moment we arrived. The receptionist was surly and indifferent, answering questions like it was a chore. A simple welcome would have gone a long way. Our room was nothing like the photos or description. The sheets were stained, there was hair in the bathroom, and the old towels had turned gray. Though it was meant to be non-smoking, it reeked of cigarettes. We couldn't open the window because outside noise poured in, and there was no insulation. The shower swung between freezing and scalding, the hot water kept cutting out, and the broken shower head soaked the bathroom. After a long journey, even taking a shower became a test of patience. Breakfast was dismal: very little choice, stale, low-quality food, dried-out cheese, bread that seemed a day old, and undrinkable tea and coffee. The tables were dirty, and the staff seemed either overwhelmed or uninterested. Calling it a buffet only raises expectations. When we reported problems, we were brushed off with “we'll look into it,” but nothing followed. It felt like they didn't understand customer satisfaction at all. We paid for service and felt like a burden.

We thought the hotel might work as a place to sleep, but even in this price range there are much better options. A proper vacation here just doesn't seem possible, and we wouldn't recommend it. The resort feels small, run-down, and oppressive as soon as you arrive. It has potential, which makes its years of neglect a shame. We booked five nights as a couple, but left after the first one because this wasn't the kind of holiday we wanted. Our bungalow by the pool was neither comfortable nor fit to stay in. Guests and staff alike seemed like they didn't want to be there. Apart from the receptionist, nobody spoke English, the food disappointed us, and the all-inclusive setup felt like a bad joke. The 3-star Imeros Hotel in Beldibi is a short walk from the beach. There are around 60 rooms, in the main building and roughly 20 bungalows around the pool. The lobby, reception, and restaurant without air conditioning are at the entrance, with the pool and bar just behind them. In September 2025, most guests seemed to be Eastern European or Russian, with very few Germans. It was our first stay, and we quickly got the impression this is more of a stopover hotel.
