Rox Resort Hotel

There is air conditioning :) but the hotel looks much more worn in person than it does in the photos, and repairs seem needed throughout. The shower was really bad, with mold and yellow stains everywhere. In summer they only provide a sheet, no blankets.

We arrived around midnight with three kids, feeling homesick already, and found out there was no food despite this being an all-inclusive hotel. There wasn’t Uber available in the area either. The customer service was disgusting, and the front desk staff were rude. The hotel feels dated, congested, and smells bad. Our room stank of sewage, and the bar area smelled like drains. The indoor pool was out of use; the outdoor pool didn’t look cleaned, and I couldn’t smell any chlorine, so I doubt it gets cleaned. My son got sick on the second day.

Ömer at the pool bar really stood out. He’s attentive, friendly, hardworking, respectful, and cheerful, and his cocktail presentations were great. He made our holiday even more enjoyable, and I’d definitely suggest asking him for a few drinks. Ömer deserves a raise. We were very pleased with the hotel and liked our stay a lot.

The sea was lovely, the drinks were high quality, and the service was not bad. Mr. Mustafa at reception was especially helpful and arranged what he said was the best room, though even that one was in poor shape. There’s no room service after 11 PM, and the air conditioning in the lobby is switched off after that, so it gets uncomfortably hot. The advertised double beds were actually single beds, and the rooms were old and worn out. The food was disgusting, and anyone with a bit of self-respect wouldn’t eat it. This didn’t ruin my vacation, though. I’m still here and have five more days to enjoy. I just want future visitors to have realistic expectations. It’s not a five-star hotel, maybe three or four at best. For this budget, you might find a better place elsewhere, though most hotels around Kemer seem outdated. I wish everyone a pleasant holiday.
