Tu Casa Gelidonya

We stayed here with our family in late October, and I would tell people to avoid it. It is listed as four stars, but to me it felt closer to two, and that is generous. The food had little variety and was terrible. The butter was out of date and mouldy, which made me wonder about the rest of the food. Getting served could feel like being shoved around, almost rugby tackled. Drinks seemed watered down, had bread or some other substance in them, and came in dirty glasses. Beer was served in plastic beakers. Both rooms were poorly cleaned. There was mould growing on a bedroom wall, no fresh linen for a week, and no clean towels. They mopped with dirty water and mops. We also found cockroaches in our second-floor room. When I pointed one out to a staff member, they threw it into the road and ushered me away. The receptionist was rude. My daughter's swimwear disappeared from her room on the second day, and my Galaxy Buds were put under the lamp. I tried to complain at reception, waited over an hour, and nobody came to help. The beach was small, with jet skiing taking up most of it, and getting there meant walking through what was basically a dump site. I could say more, but it's exhausting. We won't return. The place was appalling.

We were nervous after reading reviews before our week here, but once we arrived, we felt the all-inclusive stay was a bargain for what we paid. The hotel was kept clean, with gardening staff continually tidying up, and everyone working there was great. Entertainment had plenty of variety, and we'd both come back. The food leaned European, though we found something we liked each day. At the snack bar there were burgers, wraps, chips, onion rings, and chicken nuggets.

We visited Tu Casa Gelidonya Hotel as a group at the beginning of October 2025, and it was one of my best holidays. Ms Senel, the owner, brought such positive energy when dealing with us. The animation team kept everyone entertained, the staff were welcoming, and our rooms were cleaned every day. There was a range of traditional Turkish food, too. I don't believe the bad reviews reflect the place. Thanks to the whole Tu Casa Gelidonya Team for making the trip unforgettable. I'll be back.

The evening shows were often annoying, and at times embarrassing when guests were brought on stage. The rooms felt dirty and worn, and the food was tasteless. This has been my worst all-inclusive stay so far, and I really can't recommend it. Keep in mind that the hotel crew only speak two languages, Turkish and... I can't write the other one here.
