The spa was the highlight for us. Emel Hanim and Ramiz Bey were always kind, upbeat, and helpful, and my wife and I booked a four-day massage package. Eka was especially skilled and professional. She has spent the last 12 years working only at Starlight, and made sure we got the best massage she could give. We stayed on the fourth floor of the main building. The hallways were very dark, which frightened our child. The hotel itself is a nice family place, and the Turkish A’lacarte restaurant was very good. Food variety was adequate, but it lacked flavor, and the drinks could be better. Beer came in plastic cups, which could use an upgrade. A private taxi ride from the airport took around 50 minutes.

At this price, about 300€ a night, the stay was disappointing. The beds felt very hard, and the food and service were mediocre. The hotel is old, and most of the staff barely speak English. It seems set up for Russian guests, which is also the other language the staff speak. Getting into the sea from the beach felt risky. The water gets deep after about a metre, and the waves make it more dangerous.

Mahmut, the guest relations manager, went well beyond his role for our group of 40. We wanted to watch a show on TV together, and he arranged for us to use a room set up like a small cinema. Such a thoughtful touch. Çok teşekkurler! The staff were warm and quick to help, even with little things, like getting an oil stain out of a shirt. The villas, main hotel, gardens, pools, dining rooms, facilities, tennis court and football pitches all made for a beautiful and authentic luxury stay. The food was good too. I stayed in one of the villas shown in the photos, and left with a truly unforgettable experience.

We tried the dragon berry beer and cocktails, and it was really nice. There are lots of hookah options too. We also watched a live football match and had some delicious food.

We could hear everything from the room next door, and the rooms could use some improvement, but that didn't spoil the trip. There are pools with different levels of quiet, and plenty of food choices and activities. The staff were friendly and always ready to have fun. Being able to use both resorts was a big bonus, since we could switch things up during our stay. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. My partner and I both enjoyed our time here, and we'd recommend it and come back.
