Grand Hotel Konya

I stayed here with a group tour in January 2026. My room was entered without permission and my wallet was stolen. The cards and cash were taken, though the wallet itself was left behind. It caused immediate stress and disrupted my trip. Three other rooms in our group were also broken into around the same time, so this did not seem isolated. We reported it to the police and filed a report. Afterward, my credit card was used for more than six unauthorized transactions in Turkey. When we told hotel staff, they said there were no hallway cameras, so they could not review footage or determine how the rooms had been accessed. The hotel offered no meaningful help, follow-up, or accountability. Basic guest safety and a responsible response to a serious incident matter. Based on what happened to several guests and its impact, I strongly advise travelers to avoid this hotel, especially if safety and responsible management are important to you.
