A couple of days before we were due to arrive, the hotel messaged us: “hello please cancel your reservation. I am not offering rooms at this price.” We’d booked through Booking.com months earlier, so this was bizarre. They canceled and also tried to make us cancel ourselves, which could have affected the payment terms or even charged us. Customer support had to sort it out, and it looks like the hotel then removed its Booking.com listing. Read more reviews and the owners’ replies before booking. They speak for themselves. Get out while you can.

The owner was such a helpful, very nice man, and he speaks Turkish and German. The price was really reasonable too. It’s a cozy place in the traditional part of the city.

It’s very clean, but also very old. The only reason to stay here might be if you’re after a very cheap hotel with free Wi-Fi.

Good value for the money, with pleasant staff. It’s a budget hotel and a nice place to get some rest.
