Think Hotel

The view is the thing I’ll remember most: waking up facing the Mevlana Tomb was special, and it gives Think Hotel a real edge. You’re close to the main sights, so getting around on foot is easy. Our room was clean and comfortable, though fairly basic, and breakfast covered the essentials without standing out. For the price, it’s good value and a convenient base for a cultural or spiritual visit to Konya.

We paid about 60 euros for one night while road-tripping, so we mainly needed somewhere to sleep and shower. The room we had was small, with no opening window or view. The location was handy, right in the middle of a shopping street with plenty to do nearby. It’s a very colorful hotel, which may not suit everyone. Fine for a day or two at most.

The suite worked well overall, with two bedrooms, a roomy bathroom, and a TV in each bedroom. One bedroom had no window, though, and there was no tomb view from our side of the hotel. We were three people but found only two cups and other items for two. The pillow was too high, and reception said they only had one standard type, which seemed odd. We stayed four days and three nights for Rumi's birthday celebration. The colorful design was pleasant, breakfast was generous and tasty, and the rooftop cafe balcony had a lovely view of the tomb. It’s also very close to the Rumi museum and tomb. The receptionists spoke good English, which mattered to us. Despite the room issues, we had a very pleasant stay and I’d recommend it.

They even found me a quiet place for a Zoom meeting, and the internet was fast. The hotel was super clean, with beautiful rooms and a lovely lobby cafe. I enjoyed the delicious snacks and welcome drinks, and breakfast was excellent with plenty of vegan choices. Service was amazing throughout. It’s in a great spot in the wonderful city of Konya. A perfect stay.
