For a budget hotel, it’s excellent. The rooms are a little small, but they’ve got what you need, including a good bathroom, tea and coffee facilities, and a small fridge. I’ll definitely stay again.

You have to climb a lot of stairs to get to the hotel, and it isn’t very clear. Good for solo travelers.

It’s right in the heart of Taksim Istiklal, where it’s bustling and full of shops. I stayed for three weeks on my last visit in March 2024, and I wouldn’t have come back for that long if there hadn’t been hot water or if the place had been dirty. It’s been recently renovated, and the room was lovely, cozy, and clean, with a kettle, tea, coffee, clean towels, and other amenities. The owner and his wife are very nice and helpful in every way. This was my second stay, and I’ll book again in a few months. I can definitely recommend the hotel. The reviews from years ago don’t reflect how it is now.
