Sanitas Termal Otel

The suite was decent and the restaurant food was great, but the service was awful, especially from the male staff. We had to be up at 2 AM for the hot air balloon, so we put up the do not disturb sign. A guy still knocked on our door while dropping room service at another room, and friends in our group had the same thing happen. The male restaurant staff also barely helped when we asked for cutlery or for the table to be cleared. Maybe they're a bunch of the owners' nephews. The air conditioning barely worked, too.

We couldn't leave fast enough. The room was dirty and the air conditioning didn't work. The bathtub was filthy and leaking, and its pump was broken. There weren't any towels, and the pools looked unappealing and green. Worst experience of our holiday.

The pools and water were great and super clean, and the price for what you get is amazing. The food choices were good enough, too. Service was the reason for my lower rating. Reception was unfriendly, and the woman there acted strangely and wouldn't even look at us. Hospitality was low. The only polite, helpful person was the doorman Hayri, thank you, Hayri! Be careful with the spa, they rush through the kese and massage in about 15 minutes. Better to do your own kese and massage. Would we return? We'd most likely try another hotel.

There was a cockroach on the bed, and the view outside the room included bird droppings. The place was dirty, the AC didn't work, and the receptionist couldn't speak English. The elevator creaked and took ages going up or down, and with the dark areas and automatic lights that didn't come on, it felt creepy. There wasn't even a hot water kettle. There was plenty more wrong, but I won't list it all. I wouldn't stay here even if I were paid, it's the most terrible hotel in the world.
