Termalya Termal Hotel

The food is delicious, and the water feels healing.

The staff are still friendly and very good, and for the price I think the service is excellent. We had a fun holiday reminiscing about the old days, even though seeing how worn the hotel has become made us very sad. We've loved Termalya and visited for around 20 years, so every corner brings back memories and I can't be objective. After five years of renovations, it's still very old, and the Termalya we remembered was gone. The walls, rooms, ceilings and pools all looked worn out. The meals were a bit cold and portions insufficient, though the appetizers were plentiful and delicious, and the food was prepared more carefully on weekends. The pools are huge, and the aqua park is adequate and fast, but the tiles are old and broken. I couldn't tell whether the pools were dirty, but I could barely see my feet from above. Still, it's a very good hotel for the price. Wishing everyone good health and happy holidays.

We had a lovely weekend getaway and would definitely go again. My daughter stayed only a week ago and is already saying we should return. The price-performance is very good. The staff were polite, hardworking, attentive and friendly, and the pool, thermal pool and sauna are quite adequate. The rooms have been renovated, and the bathtub was very large. It was winter but unbearably warm inside, so the owner must be saving money by making sure guests don't get cold. The restaurant had a wide range of tasty appetizers, and breakfast was fantastic for a hotel at this price. The other food was good too, though I thought they used too much bouillon.

The hair dryers were broken, which was a real letdown since we hadn't brought one and I went out with wet hair in winter. The towels were old, torn and tattered and need replacing. We stayed one night, and the hotel felt very old and incredibly damp. The pool ceiling was covered in mold, with water dripping from above. There's a terrible cigarette smell and smoking is allowed indoors, so how are babies supposed to play there? The children's play area is combined with the rest and isn't very good. They'd be better off offering fewer dishes with more focus on taste, because there's so much wasted food.
