Cagdas Hotel

The internet was terrible, and our room could have been cleaner. When we tried to shift the bed a little, we found broken glass underneath. The breakfast was fine, the service was nice, and we enjoyed the rooftop cafeteria. The location was handy too, with a market right next door for groceries and the centre nearby.

The staff were so kind to us, and the room was really good and clean. I especially appreciated how clean the bathroom was. Since the hotel is right in the city centre, everything was close by. We loved our stay and I'll be back next year ❤️

The only good thing is the location. I came with a travel agency, and several of us were put in rooms full of rubbish that smelled awful. There are just two power outlets: one above the bed, so low that you'd hit your head on a charger at night, and one by the entrance, where the mini fridge is plugged in. The fridge stops working when you leave because the keychain has to be in place to keep the power on. The faucet drips loudly all the time, and it's extremely noisy outside. The AC doesn't swing, has almost no temperature control, and seems like it may be blowing mold into your lungs. When you raise problems with staff, it's like talking to a brick wall. They seem to understand English selectively, and act like you're crazy until you leave. The pool looks like the most likely starting point for the next worldwide pandemic, and the food may kill you. If you can stay somewhere else, anywhere else, do it.

We were treated well by the nice staff, who even let us have parties on the roof with our speakers and music. The hotel has a great location, and the rooftop swimming pool has beautiful views, especially at sunset.
