Hotel Carina

The view was really beautiful, but the place was dirty and things were broken. Even the towels were dirty, and the room smelled bad. Both pools were dirty too. We booked just one night and arrived at night, so it was too late to change hotels. Don't believe the good reviews, the bad ones are true. Never book this hotel.

The hotel was generally clean, and I enjoyed the pool area. Its best points are the scenic view and convenient location, about a 10 minute walk from the centre of Kusadasi, though getting there involves a steep uphill walk. Breakfast was poor, and the buffet drinks were ridiculous. There's also a bar restaurant on site that plays loud music late into the night. My friends and I are young, so that may suit us, but it could be a problem for families with young children or anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing stay. I'm giving Carina Hotel 1 star because belongings worth over 500€ were stolen during my stay. I reported them promptly and emailed the hotel, but after 10 days I still hadn't received a response. I know I won't get the belongings back, but the silence makes it seem like they don't take theft seriously, possibly even when it involves their own cleaning personnel. Until they improve how they respond to incidents like this, I can't recommend the hotel.

I came all the way from South Africa hoping for a peaceful one-night getaway. The location is lovely and the view is amazing, but I'm very disappointed. It's 00.09 and the music is still so loud that you can't sleep. Why doesn't the website say this is an entertainment kind of hotel? Guests pay a high price and still can't have a peaceful stay. The staff need professional training too 😞😌

It's 23.05 and the music is extremely loud. At check-in, nobody mentioned that it would play loudly until apparently 1am. I phoned reception, but they won't return my 4000 Turkish lira so I can move to another hotel. There's no manager available until morning. They took my money when we checked in and weren't honest with us. What a rip-off. I recommend staying somewhere else.
