The staff were friendly, which helped. A friend and I spent four nights here in the summer of 2018. Keep your expectations realistic and you should be fine. For the good points, hotel guests can use beach chairs and get to the beach easily. Our simple rooms were clean, and breakfast and dinner were included in the price. The hotel pool was nice and well maintained. The beach was small, but the water was clean. Meals were mixed. Breakfast was basic but tasty, while dinner felt much the same every night, so we stopped having it after night two. There isn't an elevator. The ground-floor toilets were poorly lit and not very clean, and the pool shower was out of order on one of our days. A few other things to know: hot water is heated with solar energy, so it may not be hot at night. The shower is in an open room with a curtain, rather than a proper stall. The rooms are small and simple. The hotel and the city use septic tanks, so a cleaning truck comes by regularly, and it can smell. The cafe next door isn't run by the hotel. There used to be a discount arrangement for hotel guests, but that has ended, and the cafe staff were quite rude to us. They wouldn't even throw away one empty bottle for us.
