Tusan Beach Resort

The sandy stretch of beach was always packed, so we ended up by the rocks instead. Walking there hurt our feet. We booked a beach-view room, which was a little old, but the food was enjoyable and we had a good time overall. We stayed three nights, four days, as two adults, and it was one of the best hotels we’ve visited. The staff were always smiling and very friendly. Thanks, Tusab, for the kindness and good service.

The reception staff gave us a warm welcome and made check-in and check-out easy. The bar team could be moody, though, and as foreigners we sometimes felt ignored, which took a little away from our stay. The resort itself is beautiful, with lovely surroundings, good facilities and a great atmosphere. We consistently enjoyed the food and drinks. Still, it’s a nice place to unwind.

The setting was a highlight, with breathtaking scenery in and around the hotel. Our room was spacious, spotless and comfortable, and paying a bit extra for the sea view was absolutely worth it. The spa was relaxing, and there was a huge range of food to suit different tastes, along with activities and entertainment throughout the day and evening. The staff were polite, friendly and always ready to help with a smile. We had an amazing family holiday and will definitely return. We’re already recommending it to friends and family.

We were moved to another hotel after getting in touch with our tour operator, and it was much better in every way. The conditions here fell well short of what we expected, despite the great location. We arrived at 8 a.m., but check-in wasn't until 2:30 p.m. We were allowed breakfast and access to the pool or sea while waiting, but the kitchen was dirty, the plates and cutlery were unclean, and the food was nearly inedible. The shore was far too small for the number of guests, and towels had been used to reserve every sunbed by the pool and sea, so relaxing by the water wasn't possible. Even ordering a simple hamburger meant a long queue, and the ingredients were covered in flies before being put on dirty plates. Our only option was the café, where we had to keep waving flies away.
