The beach and pool were my favorite parts, and the whole place felt easy to relax in. There was music and entertainment each evening until about 11pm, fun without being too loud. The staff were friendly and helpful, though most spoke only a little English. Drinks were good and quite strong. The food was okay, nothing special but manageable, and the shop on site was handy though a bit expensive. I had a really enjoyable stay and would happily return for the atmosphere and beach.

The pools were fun and the restaurants looked nice to sit in, but there was hardly any entertainment all week. We were usually in bed by 9 or went out somewhere else. The hotel has potential, but it needs a lot of work and discipline. Our room was dirty and smelled of sewage. There were hairs and pubic hairs in the bed, leftover water in the fridge, a wobbly toilet and sink, rust in the shower, and the shower fitting was just placed on the floor. The towel-like blankets were uncomfortable and the pillows were small. We asked twice for the room to be cleaned, but it still wasn't. Our beds and towels weren't changed all week, and we never got extra pillows. The first room we were given looked nothing like the photos and was disgusting. We arrived late at night, and the receptionists weren't friendly or helpful. They said we'd have one room for the first night and a different one for the rest, then gave us a random room when we asked why. There were only four main dishes, the same every single night, and no labels with dish names or ingredients, which was worrying for allergy safety. We ended up having spaghetti and sauce most nights or eating out, and spent more on dinners elsewhere than at the hotel. The drinks were basic, cocktails very watered down, and there wasn't much choice of spirits or soft drinks. A few staff members were friendly, but many were rude. Waitresses took away plates before we were finished, pushed past us on their way out, or seemed like they didn't want to talk to us. It felt like they didn't want to be there. The hotel calls itself four stars, but to me it was closer to two. I wouldn't recommend it if you're expecting a true all-inclusive holiday.

The evening entertainment was nice, and the location was handy, with a bus stop nearby for getting to other cities. The pools were all deep, though, so they didn't seem suitable for younger children or anyone who can't swim. We arrived late at night and I didn't want to argue then, but the room was dirty and smelled unpleasant from the air conditioning. It looked nothing like the travel agency photos. The next day the receptionist said there were no rooms available to move us to. After three days we got another room, a little bigger and in somewhat better condition, but it was still dirty and not in the section of the hotel we had paid for. Housekeeping was another problem. We had to ask for towels, the sheets weren't changed once during the week, and the cleaners only emptied the ashtray when they came in. The staff in general were fine, apart from the receptionists, who weren't very helpful. The food was standard tourist all-inclusive fare, with no chance to try proper local Turkish dishes, which was disappointing. The hotel has potential, but the cleanliness and service fall short. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone expecting what the travel agency advertises.

I stayed there with my two kids for a family holiday, but it turned into a bad experience. On the second or third day, someone went into my room and took all the money from my bag. The door was locked and the “Do not disturb” sign was on it. I came back from the pool and all my money was gone. At reception, I asked who had entered and told them the money was missing. They said it wasn't their responsibility, or suggested my kids might have taken it. That was absurd, they were small children and wouldn't steal from their own mother. The food was the same every day, with only small exceptions. Staff didn't speak good English, and in the evening it was hard to understand what the entertainer was saying. I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all.

We had a pleasant week in late September. The hotel wasn't crowded, it was around 30°C, and the sea was still warm enough for a comfortable swim. I saw a lot of negative comments, but honestly I don't really understand them. The private beach was clean and not busy, and there were always sunbeds and umbrellas available. It's across the road, with a dedicated tunnel to cross safely, a thoughtful touch given Turkish driving habits. The beach snack bar served fries and nuggets or onion rings from 11:00 to 16:00, handy if you didn't want to get up early for breakfast, which ran until 9:30. There was plenty of food choice: meat, vegetables, salads, soups, Turkish specialties, and a grill each evening. The snack bar offerings varied by day. With all the options, it was possible to eat healthily. Drinks were available all day until 23:00, including coffee, cocktails such as Sex on the Beach and Blue Hawaii, tea, water, and juices. The staff were kind and worked hard. A gentleman at reception even helped carry my luggage to the room. Waiters were quick and attentive, refilling dishes as they ran out and clearing used plates promptly, so the dining area stayed tidy. The cleaning staff did their job properly too. The room was old-fashioned, with dated furniture, but clean and usable. The bed was comfortable enough, and the terrace was nice. The air conditioning worked, which helped make the stay comfortable. There's a small gym with 3-4 machines. They're old but usable, and I managed three workouts during the week, with strength and cardio on the treadmill and stationary bike. Bieno SVS Club Hotel isn't modern or luxurious, but I found it good value, with clean facilities, kind staff, and a relaxing feel. It may suit you if you're after decent food and a nice beach, especially in late September when it's quieter.
