This could be done better. I was there for three days in October on a business trip. The bed was clean, and the small room was fine for the price, but there were too many problems. The ventilation smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, especially in the evenings, almost as if three or four people were smoking in the room. There was snot on the shower wall, and the water only got hot if I showered at 6 in the morning. At that hour, I was also woken by the imam calling to prayer at the local mosque. Breakfast is listed as starting at 7, but it wasn’t ready until 7:30, so there’s no point going earlier. The TV only had Turkish channels, and I couldn’t cast from my phone. After two days, my key stopped working because the staff had put in the wrong checkout date. They fixed the card, but then the hotel internet stopped working. I didn’t notice and used my phone’s network for the whole evening, which cost quite a bit since I’m not from Turkey. Some colleagues were bitten by insects while sleeping. When I got home, I put all my clothes in the freezer and haven’t had any more trouble.

Bed bugs were in both beds on the 3rd floor, and the hotel was awful. Breakfast was basic, and we had to ask for coffee again and again. The service was nonexistent, with staff pretending they couldn’t speak English. We asked for our money back and got nothing. Find another hotel if you want to stay bug free.

Avoid at all cost. The room smelled, and the hotel had lost my confirmed reservation. I waited 30 minutes for coffee in the morning and never got it. I asked several times for an invoice, and the one I eventually received was wrong. Even after I requested corrections for over a week, they never sent a correct one. Very poor experience.

Lunch and dinner were limited to a fixed meal, though breakfast was a buffet. The hotel was well maintained, and our room had plenty of space. The bathroom was clean and the water pressure was strong. We stayed during cold weather, and the air conditioning worked efficiently. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the metro.

I’d give it a full score. The setting is beautiful, close to the seaside park, and it worked well for a business trip. I especially liked the professional gym and the excellent coffee. The service was thoughtful too. A special thank you to Miss Emine from reception dept. for helping me during my stay, especially when I was panicked by the earthquake.
